Talk on the Telephone with a Princesses
Your child can pick up the set's green phone and chat with Disney princess friends whenever the mood strikes. The unattached phone rests in a small holder next to the sink until it's time for a phone call with Cinderella. At the press of the heart or crown button, the phone will play phrases spoken by classic Disney princesses.
Realistic Kitchen Sounds for Interactive Fun
The kitchen set itself also produces sounds during play. Turn one knob to hear the stove emit a sizzle sound, and turn another to produce the sound of water boiling. She must have seen a commercial for it because she would not stop talking about it and even walked right up to Santa and asked for it and kept telling anyone who asked that she wanted a "pink princess kitchen with a phone" for Christmas. My husband and I set it up last night and it's complete junk. It is not the kind of quality you imagine when you pay that price. Luckily I did not pay full price or I would be even more upset. But the retail price on this should be about $29 and I paid significantly more than that. It is nothing like other kitchens on the market (of comparable price) that are durable and a child can enjoy for years. It is very light weight plastic and seems like it will tip over. The background scenes are made of flimsy poster board that is very loosely attached to the kitchen.
